Forgotten Realms Avatar Series - Complete 5-Book Set - Vintage 1989 Mass Market Paperbacks

5-book set of Forgotten Realms, The Avatar Series: Shadowdale, Tantras, Waterdeep, Prince of Lies, Crucible: The Trial of Cyric the Mad by Richard Awlinson, James Lowder and Troy Denning. TSR, 1989, vintage mass market paperbacks.

Condition: Good. No highlighting or writing found on inspection. Not an ex-library copy.
Shadowdale — The yellow front cover is bright with only light edge rubbing and slightly bumped corners; the pale green spine shows a few vertical crease lines and small scuffs at the head and tail. The green back cover is clean apart from faint handling marks, and the page block is evenly toned tan with a flat, square binding.
Tantras — The black front cover shows rubbing and light scuffing along the top edge and around the title block, with minor corner wear. The brown back cover is wrinkled and creased in places with surface scuffing, and the tan spine has several vertical crease lines; the page block is toned and slightly rippled.
Waterdeep — This is the most worn copy: the cover edges are crumpled and chipped along the top, the front cover is creased and lifting, and the spine shows heavy white creasing with rubbed lettering. The blue back cover is scuffed and soiled, the page block is splayed and toned, and the binding is noticeably loose with the covers no longer lying flat.
Prince of Lies — Only the spine and a sliver of the covers are visible; the dark spine shows multiple white vertical crease lines and rubbing at the head and tail. The page block is toned with a rippled, uneven fore-edge.
Crucible: The Trial of Cyric the Mad — Mostly shown from the spine and partial front/back; the red spine has creasing and rubbed edges with wear at the head and tail. The page block is toned and the top edge looks roughened, with the covers slightly curled.
All five are read copies with tan-toned page blocks and spine creasing, ranging from lightly worn (Shadowdale) to heavily worn (Waterdeep).
