Specifications

Three original Pass the Pumpkin stories for Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving. For 4–30 players, ages 7+; a mixed-age family or classroom game. Four printable PDFs: US Letter and A4, each in color and low ink. Includes 18 pt large-print pages, four optional prize cards and pumpkin/apple cutouts. Bring a light object to pass; props and prizes are not included.

Only the reader needs a copy. Print a one-page story for a quick round, or use the 18 pt large-print edition. Players sit in a circle and pass one seat for every LEFT or RIGHT in the story. For 13–30 players, use three objects and all three holders win. The complete host guide is included. At exactly 13, 17 or 19 players, the cue count makes a full lap; the reader calls “One more LEFT!” so no object finishes back at its starter.

Choose from three different routes, so consecutive rounds can finish at different seats; the same person may win more than once depending on group size and starters. Allow about 4–6 minutes per story, including pauses. Younger children ages 5–6 can play with a helper.

THE THREE STORIES
- A Seat for the Pumpkin: Thanksgiving dinner with a guest of honor who never asks for the recipe.
- The Friendsgiving Spoon Club: a potluck, a missing spoon and plenty of wordplay.
- The Harvest Hat: a curious goat and a pumpkin-headed scarecrow trying to keep his hat.

WHAT YOU GET — FOUR PDF FILES, 18 PAGES EACH
- US Letter color (8.5 × 11 inches)
- A4 color (210 × 297 mm)
- US Letter low ink
- A4 low ink

Every file contains the same set: one start-here host guide; three one-page host stories with quick rules; 12 large-print pages with full rules and all three stories at 18 pt; one sheet of four optional prize cards; and one sheet of pumpkin and apple cutouts to tape onto your own passing objects. These are four print editions of the same three stories. No answer key is needed.

PRINT AND PREPARE
Print only the pages you need, single sided at 100% / Actual size. Choose a small, easy-to-pass pumpkin, light empty box or gift bag; for 13–30 players, prepare three objects. Reprint either cutout for the third object. Optional cutouts and prize cards can be printed on card stock and cut out. Low ink has white backgrounds, outlined headers and grayscale illustrations. Practice both directions from each player's own viewpoint before starting.

GOOD TO KNOW
