This is an instant digital download containing an offline HTML5 application. No physical item, Excel workbook, Google Sheet, glass pattern or material is included.

IMPERIAL AND METRIC

Enter dimensions and material quantities using supported length, area and weight units. Glass can be displayed in square inches, square feet, square centimeters or square meters; supply lots can use units such as feet, meters, grams, ounces, pounds, milliliters and pieces.

Glass waste can be an extra percentage added to net area, or a yield-loss percentage of purchased area. The app labels these different assumptions. Foil and solder quantities are planning estimates based on measurements and studio rates you enter.

HOW TO START

1. Download the ZIP file from your Etsy purchase downloads using a browser.
2. Extract the ZIP into a permanent folder on your computer.
3. Open GlassForge_Pro_v1.0.html in a current desktop browser.
4. Explore the sample studio, or choose an empty workspace.
5. Add your own studio settings, material costs and pricing assumptions.
6. Export a JSON backup regularly and before moving the app file or changing browsers.

OFFLINE & PRIVACY

The core app does not require internet, a server, paid API, subscription or account. It makes no external network requests for its normal features. Your records stay in the browser profile on your device until you export them. There is no automatic cloud synchronization.

Browser data is separate from the HTML application file. Keep the app at the same file path and use the same browser/profile. Browser storage behavior for locally opened HTML files can vary; private browsing, browser cleanup, moving the file or changing profiles may make records unavailable. JSON backup and restore is the supported way to move your workspace. Backups are not encrypted.

COMPATIBILITY

Desktop or laptop use is recommended for opening the downloaded HTML file. The interface adapts to tablet and mobile widths, but opening a local HTML file from a phone’s file manager and keeping browser storage varies by operating system and browser. This is not a native iOS/Android app, an app-store download or an installable PWA.

The delivered version has been exercised in Chromium on an HTTP test origin. Local-file persistence, Firefox, Safari and physical iOS/Android devices have not all been verified. Review the included guide’s compatibility and backup notes before relying on browser storage.

English interface. Light and dark themes. USD is the default currency. A separate empty workspace can use EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD or TRY; currency changes do not convert amounts or retrieve live exchange rates. Financial workspaces keep one base currency.

WHAT THIS VERSION DOES NOT INCLUDE

No Etsy order sync, bank/payment processing, customer email sending, team accounts, pattern drawing, cutting-layout optimization, live currency conversion or tax filing. The app tracks stock by usable area; it does not prove that a physical scrap will fit your pattern. It does not determine structural suitability or product safety.

Pricing profiles and platform fees are editable planning assumptions. Customize them for your actual studio and account. Project profit reports use recorded materials, labor and estimated selling fees; they are not a complete accounting or tax system.

LICENSE & DIGITAL PRODUCT

One purchase licenses one buyer or one small studio for its own internal use. You may produce customer documents and use the app for your studio’s commercial work. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly host the full purchased app or offer its source as a template/product. Backup copies for your own studio are permitted.
