Halloween Visual Schedule, Trick or Treat Story, 21 Picture Cards, Editable Blanks, Autism ADHD

Halloween can be a lot: costumes, the dark, knocking on strangers' doors, fireworks. My Halloween is a printable visual schedule and two visual stories that show your child what will happen, one step at a time. Made by a dad for his own autistic, ADHD son.

WHAT YOU GET (instant download, 7 pages)
- A Trick or treat board with 8 numbered steps
- Going trick-or-treating visual story (6 pictures, to read together beforehand)
- Fireworks visual story (6 pictures), for Bonfire Night, New Year or the Fourth of July
- 21 picture cards (52 mm): costume on, face paint, pumpkin, dark outside, torch, hold hands, knock on door, trick or treat, take one sweet, say thank you, it's pretend, go home, party, sweets time, fireworks, ear defenders, excited, scared, break, walk, sleep
- 3 blank cards you can type on before printing
- 2 Now and Next strips and 2 Finished labels
- A one-page set-up guide with tips

HOW IT WORKS
- A few days before, read the trick-or-treating story together and practise at your own front door.
- On the night, put the steps on the board and move each card to Finished as you go.
- Too loud, too dark or too scary? Use the Break card, or go home. Ear defenders help with fireworks.

TWO EDITIONS
- UK A4 (sweets, ear defenders, torch) and US Letter (candy, earmuffs, flashlight), both in your download. Print at 100% on thin card (cardstock), laminate, cut along the thick blue borders and add hook-and-loop dots.
- The blank cards are fillable: open the PDF in Adobe Reader (free) or Preview, type, then print.

WORKS WITH THE REST OF THE SHOP
The cards are the same size and style as our Morning Routine kit, Feelings kit and Daily Routine bundle, so they fit any of our boards.
