Calm Down Corner Printables, Autism ADHD Breathing Poster and Calm Down Cards, Printable

When a big feeling arrives, words are the first thing to go. My Calm Corner puts the plan on the wall: calm-down steps, a flower and candle breathing poster, a calm choices board and picture cards. Made by a dad for his own autistic, ADHD son.

WHAT YOU GET (instant download, 6 pages)
- A When I feel big feelings poster: stop, deep breaths, count to 10, calm corner
- A Flower and candle breathing poster: smell the flower, blow the candle, five times
- A My calm choices board for 3 to 6 things that really help
- 18 picture cards (52 mm): 12 calm choices (deep breaths, smell the flower, blow the candle, squeeze, count to 10, calm corner, hug, quiet time, ear defenders, headphones, drink, walk) and 6 feelings
- 6 blank cards you can type on before printing
- A one-page set-up guide with tips

HOW IT WORKS
- Practise the breathing poster together on calm days, so it’s ready for the big ones.
- Put 3 to 6 things that really help your child on the calm choices board.
- When a big feeling comes, point to the steps: stop, breathe, count, then a calm choice.

TWO EDITIONS
- UK A4 and US Letter PDFs, both in your download, with UK and US words. Print at 100% on thin card (cardstock), laminate, cut along the thick blue borders and add hook-and-loop dots.

WORKS WITH THE REST OF THE SHOP
The cards are the same 52 mm size as all our kits, so they fit every board in the shop.
