Fruit of the Spirit Printable for Kids, 9 Bible Placemats, Sunday School Activity Pages

Seller's description

Fruit of the Spirit printable for kids: nine color-in Bible placemats, one for each week, for the dinner table, Sunday school or church snack time.

Every mat has the whole of Galatians 5:22–23, a fruit to color, a puzzle, something to look for that week and a question to talk about together.

WHAT YOU GET — 12 landscape pages, in US Letter AND A4
• Nine placemats, one for each word in Galatians 5:22–23: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control
• On every mat: the whole verse with that week's word underlined, a big fruit to color, a one-line prayer, a "Look for it this week" prompt, a dinner-table question and a "This placemat belongs to" line
• Nine puzzles: three mazes (one of them round), three word finds and three dot-to-dots (a sailboat, the wise builder's house on the rock, and a kite)
• A "Fruit we're noticing" page, to write down each week where you saw the fruit growing and what you said to God about it
• A cover page, and a one-page guide for parents and leaders with answer keys for the word finds and the mazes

ONE FRUIT, NOT A BEHAVIOR CHART
Paul writes "the fruit of the Spirit": one fruit with nine qualities. The Holy Spirit grows it; nobody earns it by trying harder. So there are no points, stars or rewards here. You notice the fruit, thank God for it, and ask Him to grow more, in the kids and in us.

WHY WEEK 7 SAYS "FAITH"
Faith is the word the World English Bible uses in Galatians 5:22, so that is the word on the mat. Many other Bibles use a word that means being faithful. The guide page explains how Paul's word carries both ideas: trusting God, and being someone others can trust.

NO PREP, LIGHT ON INK
Print one-sided on plain paper. There is nothing to cut. White backgrounds and simple line art keep ink use low. Card stock lasts longer, and a clear sheet protector turns a mat into a wipe-clean one for dry-erase markers.

FOR HOME OR FOR A CLASS
One purchase covers one home, or one class or group. Teaching several classes? Please buy one copy per class.

ABOUT THE WORDS
Scripture is quoted from the World English Bible (public domain), word for word. We never paraphrase it.
