Seller's description

Christmas pass the present for teens, ages 12-17: three LEFT/RIGHT stories and four comic rhyme relays. A dog joins a group chat, a concert goes spectacularly off-script, and a gift-wrap rescue gets help from exactly the wrong cat. For teen parties, youth groups, friend gift swaps and family Christmas with older kids.

FOR ONE ROUND: print one standard game page and supply a wrapped present. A reader keeps the sheet; players need no copies. Stories with 13-30 players need three presents; rhyme relays always use one.

PRIZES TO BUY: a story round with 12 players awards ONE present; a story round with 20 players awards THREE. Rhyme relays award ONE present at any group size. Taking a turn holding a present is not receiving a take-home gift. If you want everyone to receive a gift, supply additional presents and use a separate distribution plan after the game.

Kind by design: no dating, appearance jokes or personal questions. Nobody has to perform, own a phone or show messages. Rhyme relays follow printed seat counts; nobody chooses the final recipient.

THE SEVEN GAMES
LEFT/RIGHT stories:
- The Phone Basket Mix-Up: matching phone cases, a timer and one group photo with nobody missing.
- The Snow Day Text: five friends, one sled and a snowman ready for class.
- The Winter Concert Mix-Up: wrong music, wrong chairs and an accidental soloist.
Comic rhyme relays (12 verses each):
- Group Chat Rhymes: one festive photo becomes a family chat disaster.
- Snow Day Rhymes: a snowman becomes an unexpectedly formal guest.
- Concert Night Rhymes: a lost lyric turns into the crowd's favorite chorus.
- Winter Break Rhymes: a gift-wrapping rescue with unhelpful feline assistance.

HOW TO PLAY
Gather a reader plus 4-30 players in a circle; a teen can read. Have a pen and paper scraps ready: mix the players' names and draw one for the starter. For stories, pass one seat for every spoken LEFT or RIGHT in the story, even in phrases such as 'LEFT the room.' Pause after every cue. Draw a name for the starter and hand that player the present before the story. The stories have 39, 43 and 49 cues and different passing routes. Winners can repeat across rounds; draw a new starter and supply new prizes for each round. With exactly 13, 17 or 19 players, call “One more LEFT!” after THE END and pass once more. At THE END, each holder keeps their present. Use one present with 4-12 players; for 13-30, use three spaced evenly around the circle.

Not sure where to start? Open with the Phone Basket or Winter Concert story, then try a rhyme relay. Each rhyme has its own passing route (short hops, long runs, zig-zags), so no two feel alike. Rhyme relays always use ONE present. Read a verse and its bold pass line, such as 'Pass 3 seats RIGHT.' Count three individual handoffs, starting from the holder, then pause. Only the bold pass line moves the present. After verse 12, the holder keeps it. These are fixed passing routes, not random prize draws. Choose a new starter for each round; supply new prizes for additional rounds.

WHAT YOU GET: FOUR PDF FILES, 40 PAGES EACH
- US Letter color (8.5 x 11 inches)
- A4 color (210 x 297 mm)
- US Letter low ink
- A4 low ink

Each file has the same set: 2 start-here and host-help pages, 3 one-page host stories, 4 one-page rhyme relays, a blank Write Your Own Story page with LEFT/RIGHT tally, a blank Write Your Own Rhymes page, 27 large-print pages with full rules and all seven games at 18 pt, a sheet of 4 optional prize cards and a sheet of 3 numbered labels to cut out for passing presents. Large-print pages have page numbers. The four files contain the same seven games, not four different game sets.

PRINT AND PREPARE
Print just the pages you need, single sided at 100% / Actual size. Presents and prizes are not included. A gift bag or small box works too. No music needed. Low ink uses white pages and outline headers.

Allow about 4-6 minutes per story or 3-5 per rhyme including pauses; these are estimates, not live group timings. Story routes were simulated from printed cues for all starts with 4-30 players: every player holds a present at least once during passing when all cues are followed, using one present for 4-12 or three for 13-30. Only the final holder(s) win a present. That passing-coverage claim applies to stories only. Routes do not give equal winning chances independent of the starting seat.

Digital download only; nothing ships. Ready-to-print PDFs, not editable templates. Download using a web browser under Etsy Purchases. Printer settings affect color. For personal use at your own event or group; do not resell or share the files.
