Specifications

May include: A digital graphic featuring the text JEREMY IS HAND, the duo: one real hand, two favorite pens, and three dark blue buttons labeled ORIGINAL: THE SHARPIE, NEAT: THE INK PEN, and COMMERCIAL USE INCLUDED, with a circular RWP logo.

This font does not imitate handwriting. It is handwriting.

Every letter in Jeremy's Hand was written by an actual hand, on paper, with real pens. Jeremy Durham is a veteran and a college teacher in Kansas (he teaches networking, cybersecurity, and AI at Cowley College). In October 2026 he sat down and filled out page after page of handwriting templates, letter by letter, take after take. We digitized his writing exactly as he wrote it. Nothing was smoothed into somebody else's idea of neat. The wobble is his. The rhythm is his.

It is called a Duo because you get his hand in two moods:

* Jeremy's Hand (Original) — the bold Sharpie cut. Marker energy, big confident strokes. Made for headlines, signs, shirts, and classroom posters.
* Jeremy's Hand Neat — the careful ink-pen cut. This is the hand he uses when he wants it tidy. Made for journaling, worksheets, notes, and longer passages that still need to read easy.

Both cuts come with their Alt companion fonts, which swap in his second takes of the most common letters, so repeated letters do not all look stamped from the same mold.

This hand is already at work in the wild. It typesets the headings and body text at jeremyryandurham.com, it is the handwritten Ryan Wilson Projects logo, and it is being used to set the text of the Prairie Virtues children's books. When you use it, you are using a working hand, not a display piece.

My favorite character in the whole font: The template had one spare box marked "dealer's choice." Jeremy filled it with ?! — and so this font carries a true handwritten interrobang ( ‽ ), drawn his way, with a dot under each stem. It might be the only one of its kind.

What you get:
* 4 font files (TTF): Jeremy's Hand, Jeremy's Hand Alt, Jeremy's Hand Neat, Jeremy's Hand Neat Alt
* Webfonts (WOFF + WOFF2) for your own website
* Install guide (Windows, Mac, Word, Cricut, Silhouette, Canva)
* License file. Commercial use is included.

Character set and features:
* Full printable alphabet: A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, full everyday punctuation, plus ¢ € £, en dash and em dash
* Curly quotes, ©, ®, ™, bullet, ellipsis, middot, and degree sign (Complete Edition set)
* 45 alternate takes per font via Stylistic Alternates / ss01 in OpenType apps; the Alt fonts give you the same takes the simple way
* The Original cut joins 14 letter pairs the way he actually writes them (th, he, in, er, an, ou, re, nd, on, ll, ee, oo, ss, tt). The Neat cut does not join letters, because his neat hand does not either
* Works in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (tested metadata profile)
* Honest note: beyond the joined pairs there are no kerning pairs. His natural spacing is the spacing

Commercial use, in plain words: Commercial use is included in the price. Make things and sell them: shirts, mugs, signs, stickers, worksheets, classroom decor, market booth goods, your small business logo. Print runs up to 5,000 copies per design are covered. You may not pass along the font files themselves (no reselling, sharing, or uploading the files), and the fonts cannot go inside an app or template where somebody else could pull the font out. Full plain-language terms ride along in license.txt. Credit is appreciated, never required.

Installing: Download, unzip, double-click, install. The install guide walks through Windows and Mac step by step, plus Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Canva, and how to find the special characters. If you get stuck, send a message and we will help you get it working.

This is a digital download. No physical item will be shipped. Please look over the specimen pictures closely; what you see is exactly the hand you get.
