As a Rabbit Pickup owner, I tried at least 3 different sellers version of this tailgate sticker.


They all didn't suit what I was looking for: OEM fit and quality. It seems like a lot of sellers are using a scan of a tailgate that is floating around the web as their cut file. The fit is poor.
...so I made my own.

I must have made a dozen prototypes trying to get the fit 'just right' for each letter. I wanted them to sit square and evenly gapped on the raised stamping. I also wanted to have all the letters in the word install in 1 piece. When I was finally successful on my tailgate, I tried it on a few other tailgates to make sure that it fit well on all. The letter forms look great, but unfortunately, there seems to be some small discrepancies between the letter-to-letter spacing on different tailgates (maybe different stampings?). The answer is to install these as singles - it makes the install a snap!. Because of this, I will ship this sticker cut into singles unless you specifically state in the 'message to seller' that you'd like it shipped as an uncut, 1 piece sticker.

The material is Oracal 751 High-Performance CAST vinyl. If other ads do not state that the material is 'cast'- it's 'calendared' and not appropriate for automotive use such as this. This stuff lays smooth and thin like paint - just like the OEMs use. You'll love how smooth it goes on. The default color is satin black. Other colors like satin white, gloss red, gloss blue, and reflective red, are available, too. I can do custom colors to match your interior or wheels... just ask.

I can also offer these as separate letter pairs- just in case you damage one someday. You won't need to order an entire sticker, just the letters you need.
