Wildflower Activity Book for Kids: Make & Play, 80 Printable Puzzles, Paper Crafts, Ages 8-12

Make & Play! Wildflower Hootenanny: Puzzles, Games & Paper Crafts, by Brian William Skelton.

Little flowers, big hootenanny! Join Lydia and her Papa for a sunrise stroller walk out in the North Texas country. Along the way they feed the fish in the backyard pond, swing on Pearl the pecan tree's low rope swing, and meet a whole meadow of silly flower friends: Maxie, a sunflower who can't stop turning to face the sun; Lupe, a bluebonnet who never misses a photo; Paintbrush Pete, who paints the fence, the cow and one very surprised watering can; and Glory, the morning glory who is first to say good morning. And all day long there is a mystery to solve: what is Lydia's very favorite flower? Solve crosswords, tackle Sudoku, follow maze paths, crack Papa's corny flower jokes and collect eight hidden clues on the Clue Tracker until only one flower is left. Made for ages 8–12, for spring break, summer days, garden lovers and homeschool. Sunny, silly wildflower fun.

HOW IT WORKS
This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped. After purchase, download the PDF from your Etsy account and print at home or at a print shop. Print a craft template again whenever you want another crown or bouquet, and a fresh puzzle page for every player.

Paper crafts need scissors, glue, paper and a little string; cardstock makes sturdier crafts. Adult help with cutting is recommended.

HOW IT WAS MADE
Created with the help of AI tools from the author's original ideas and prompts, then reviewed, refined and arranged by Skelton Publishing LLC. The flower friends and their meadow are make-believe.

PRINTING RIGHTS
You may print as many copies as you need for your own family, or for the students in your own classroom. Please do not resell, share, or post this file.
