  • Digital download
  • Digital file type(s): 1 PDF, 2 other files

Plan your wedding seating chart without sticky notes: set up your tables, pick a table for each guest, and the table map, alphabetical escort card list and meal counts by table build themselves.

PREFER AN APP? The Seating Studio, also in our shop, lets you pick a guest, pick a table and tap a seat on your phone or computer, for up to 1,000 guests: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4602471287/wedding-seating-chart-planner-app

WHAT YOU GET
• Settings for the number of tables, seats per table and an optional head table, with a table list to name any table or give it a different number of seats (up to 40 tables plus the head table)
• Guest list for up to 300 people with party, side, group, coming (yes, maybe or no), meal, dietary needs and table, plus an optional seat order
• Table Map with a card for every table showing who sits there in seat order, open seats and anyone over capacity
• Escort card list of every seated guest sorted A to Z by last name, with table, table name, meal and dietary needs
• Keep apart and seat together notes, each checked against your tables
• Meals by Table with the count of each meal for every table, plus every dietary need and its table
• Dashboard with guests to seat, seated, still to seat, total seats, empty seats, tables over capacity and seating conflicts

HOW IT WORKS
1. Type your number of tables, seats per table and head table on Settings, and name any table you like.
2. Add your guests, then pick a table for each one from the dropdown.
3. Watch the Dashboard for warnings, then print the escort card list and send Meals by Table to your caterer.

FEATURES
• Each table shows Full, Open seats, Empty or Over by 1, and the extra guest is flagged
• Seat numbers fill in on their own, and an optional seat order puts the couple in the middle of the head table
• Flags for guests who still need a table, table numbers that aren't set up, guests marked No who still have a table, duplicate names and meals to choose
• Guests marked No drop off the map, the cards and the meal counts on their own
• Your own meal choices and guest groups in editable dropdowns
• Focused on seating: no RSVP tracking or budget columns
• Clean, printable layout

WORKS WITH
• Microsoft Excel (desktop or Microsoft 365)
• Google Sheets (free with a Google account)
• Apple Numbers
• LibreOffice
Best on a computer or tablet.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
• Wedding Seating Chart Planner - Blank.xlsx, ready for your wedding

• A quick start guide (PDF)
This is a digital download. Nothing is shipped, and the files are yours to keep. For personal use.

HOW WE MAKE IT
Every Toast & Tally planner is designed in-house with AI-assisted tools, then every tab, formula and sample file is checked and tested before it is listed.
