SKILLS AND MATERIALS
English-language instructions using US crochet terms. Easy / adventurous beginner level, with existing single-crochet skills. Uses magic rings, continuous rounds, increases, invisible decreases, sewing and embroidery. These are sewn amigurumi patterns. Suggested materials are smooth category 5 bulky yarn, a 5 mm hook, toy stuffing, stitch marker, yarn needles, scissors and smooth embroidery yarn. Adjust hook size for dense fabric. Each animal's estimated purchasing allowance is 70 m main color and 10 m contrast; these quantities have not been sample-measured. Size varies with yarn, hook and tension; at the suggested target gauge the body diameter is approximately 9.5 cm before stuffing, not including ears or feet.
