THE STORY BEHIND IT
Vincent van Gogh's younger brother Theo, an art dealer in Paris, supported him with money and paint supplies for years. Hundreds of Vincent's letters to Theo survive, and plenty of them mention paint.

Great for art teachers, painters, art students and museum lovers. A cheerful art teacher gift or studio shirt for anyone whose supply budget is mostly paint.

Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) wrote hundreds of letters to his younger brother Theo, an art dealer who sent him money for food, canvas and, above all, paint. Over a career of about ten years he made nearly 900 paintings. This chibi Vincent van Gogh holds his brush and palette, ready for the next order of colors. The watercolor-style illustration has straw yellow, cobalt blue and ginger.
