THE STORY BEHIND IT
In Jane Austen's Emma (1815), Mr. Knightley is about the only person who ever scolds Emma, and he does it because he cares about her.

Great for book clubs, English teachers, librarians, Jane Austen fans and romance readers with a soft spot for a steady hero. A warm, funny gift for the friend who always tells you the truth.

Mr George Knightley is Emma Woodhouse's old friend and neighbor in Jane Austen's Emma (1815), and the only person who ever tells her when she is wrong. His lectures come from the heart, as Emma eventually realizes. This chibi Mr Knightley is ready with a gentle word of advice. The watercolor-style illustration has forest green, tan and warm brown.
