Saint Peter the Apostle Shirt, Church Usher Gift, Keeper of the Keys, Catholic Tee for Church Greeters, Confirmation and Baptism

Cute chibi watercolor-style illustration of Saint Peter the Apostle with curly grey hair, a grey beard and a big smile, holding two golden keys and a fishing net with a fish inside: "Be kind. I have the keys." A nod to the keys of the kingdom.

A thoughtful Saint Peter the Apostle gift for Catholics, RCIA sponsors, catechists or a confirmation student who loves this saint.

THE STORY BEHIND IT
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus tells Peter, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 16:19), which is why Saint Peter is pictured holding keys.

Great for Catholic families, fishermen, church ushers, greeters, landlords and anyone who holds the keys at home or at work. A cheerful confirmation, baptism or birthday gift with a gentle reminder about manners at the door.

The fisherman from Galilee became the leader of the apostles, and tradition pictures him at the gates of heaven with the keys (Matthew 16:19). This cheerful chibi version wears a tan cloak over a blue tunic and sandals, and carries his golden keys and a net still holding the day's catch. A friendly, cheerful shirt for anyone in charge of the door.
