Homeschool Transcript Template, Fillable PDF, GPA Calculator, 30 Course Description Examples

Seller's description

This is a fillable homeschool high school transcript kit: a one-page transcript you type into, a GPA and credit calculator, and a course description builder with 30 example descriptions. It is for parents who need a transcript and course descriptions for college applications.

Parents often say the course descriptions take the longest. This kit gives you a six-part formula, sentence starters and 30 example descriptions you can edit, from Algebra 1 to dual enrollment English.

Not for: families who want a daily lesson planner. This kit covers the transcript and what feeds it.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
- A fillable one-page transcript (PDF), printed one-sided with a signature line. It has every field the NCAA Eligibility Center lists for homeschool transcripts, including the 9th grade start date, credit units, grading scale and graduation date. A missing field can get a transcript set aside, so a checklist page lets you tick each one before you send it.
- An optional second page for extra courses, test scores, outside courses and activities
- A course description builder: the formula, two fillable worksheets and 30 written examples across English, math, science, social studies, world languages, fine arts, health and electives
- A GPA and credit calculator (Excel file that also opens in Google Sheets). It does weighted and unweighted GPA for each year and overall, total credits by subject, and turns a credit red if it isn't an NCAA size
- A fillable four-year course map, a plain guide to credits and GPA, and a before-you-send checklist

You can type in every field, so there's no handwriting and no retyping. We proofread every label and spell-checked the whole file. If you still find a mistake, tell us and we'll send you a correct file.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Type your courses and grades into the calculator.
2. Copy the totals onto the transcript and fill in the rest.
3. Write each course description from the worksheet and examples. Then sign and send.

Good to know:
- An organizing tool for parents. Not legal advice. Homeschool rules differ by state, so check your state's law.
- It is not an accreditation or a diploma, and it is not connected with the NCAA. You, as the homeschool administrator, issue the transcript. Each college decides what it accepts.
- Example descriptions are models. Edit them to match what your teen did.
