ARCADE MOLDING: arched pocket frieze

A row of tall arched pockets with narrow slots between them; under each slot a bell-shaped pocket flares down to the bottom rail. One flat pocket depth, vertical walls, crisp shadow lines. Both ends of every strip cut through the center of an arch, so strips butt end to end and the arch at each joint closes up with no seam, for any length of run.

Designed by Roxford Carpentry, a custom carpentry shop in Jacksonville, Florida.

- DXF of every pocket outline, ready for a simple 2D pocket toolpath

SIZES
- 3 x 24 in: 20 arches, pocket depth 0.225 in, finish with a 1/8 in flat end mill
- 4 x 24 in: 15 arches, pocket depth 0.300 in, finish with a 1/8 in flat end mill
- 5 x 24 in: 12 arches, pocket depth 0.375 in, finish with a 1/8 in flat end mill
Every inside corner is rounded so a 1/8 in bit reaches all of it, and no rib is thinner than 0.15 in.

3D PRINTING
The STL is a watertight solid that slices cleanly in any FDM or resin slicer (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, Chitubox). Pieces bigger than your print bed can be split in the slicer and glued.

WORKS WITH
CNC: Fusion, Vectric Aspire and VCarve Pro, Carveco, Carbide Create and any CAM that reads DXF, STL or grayscale heightmaps.

Please don't scale the strips down: the slots are drawn for the 1/8 in bit listed on the cut sheet.
