Butterfly Wishes is inspired by the butterflies that would seem to visit me on Mothers Day for many years after my stepmother passed. The first year, the butterfly actually landed and sat on my hand, and the following years a butterfly would just circle around. Ever since then I would think of hope in the coming years and happiness that is there for the taking once we take our eyes off ourselves.

This beautiful bracelet is handmade, one of a kind with the use of found objects, repurposed jewelry such as that lovely broach. I can picture that brooch gracing a lovely lady on her way to a womens get together in the years gone by. The matching butterflies are sitting on turquoise stones soaking up the life giving dew to hydrate them for their journey.

Various seed beads and Swarovski crystals dot the piece to catch positive light and reflect it back to the wearer.
