🕵️ Operation Golden Bubble is a printable secret-agent mission for kids aged 7–12. They play it around your home.

Who it's for and how it works:
• Two versions of the same mission: Junior (7–8) and Expert (9–12).
• A grown-up hides the cards and stays nearby to help.
• This is a digital download: you print it at home.

THE MISSION
The secret formula of the Golden Bubble has vanished from the Lighthouse Agency's safe, and one of four agents is a double agent.
• Your agents solve a puzzle on each hidden case card.
• Every answer is a number. They find that number on the Agent Map, which tells them where the next card is hidden.
• A small sign on each card lets them check their answer before they run off.
• Along the way they collect 3 pieces of evidence and compare them with the suspect file.
• Then they name the double agent before opening the sealed Top Secret envelope.

WHAT THE KIDS DO
• They solve 10 different kinds of puzzles: a pictogram code, a window mask, spot the changes, barcodes, a drone route, map coordinates, a decoder strip, a logic lock and the letter puzzle.
• The last card hides an invisible message: fold it and hold it up to the light, and the number appears.
• They search the house, write their evidence in their Mission Log and agree on who did it.
• Role badges rotate during the game, so everyone gets a job.

CHOOSING THE LEVEL
• Junior (7–8): picture puzzles and very little reading.
• Expert (9–12): more steps and simple maths. An intel report also lets older kids catch a suspect's alibi that doesn't hold up.
• With mixed ages, each child can solve their own version of the same card.

FOR THE GROWN-UP
• Start with the Quick-Start: the whole game in 5 steps, on one page.
• A hiding plan with a replacement idea for every place, so it works in a small flat too.
• A read-aloud script, plus 3 step-by-step hints for every card and an answer key that explains the reasoning.
• Setup: about 15 minutes. Play time: about 30–45 minutes. Both are our estimates.

WHAT YOU NEED
A printer (black & white is fine), paper, scissors, a little tape and pencils. No app, no screen, no padlock.

WHAT YOU PRINT FOR ONE GAME
About 16 sheets for one level, plus 1 Mission Log per child. The host guide can be read on screen.
Included in the game: the mission letter, the suspect file, the Agent Map, role badges, 9 case cards, the Top Secret envelope label, the formula to cut out, a photo sign and certificates (type names into the PDF).

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
Agent ID cards, door signs, photo props, treat labels, invitations and thank-you tags. Print them only if you like.

• Every language is included in one purchase: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese (written for Portugal and Brazil).
• Each language comes in full colour and ink-saver versions.
