A TASTE OF THE JOKES
What did the sandwich say to the fridge? Close the door, I'm dressing.
Why did the astronaut bring a lasso to lunch? To catch a floating sandwich.
Why don't fish carry umbrellas? They're already wet.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Print the PDF at 100 percent ("Actual size"). Card stock lasts longer.
2. Cut along the dashed lines. Each note is about 3.6 by 2.4 inches (9 by 6 cm).
3. Tuck one under the sandwich, on the fruit or inside the lid.

NOT INCLUDED
The lunch box, napkins and a paper cutter. Printed notes (this is a digital download and nothing ships).

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD
After payment, Etsy gives you the files on the Purchases page. You need a PDF reader and a printer. Colors on your screen and on paper can look a little different. Lunch boxes vary, so cut one note and test the fit first.

GOOD FOR
School lunch boxes, packed lunches, road trips, sleepovers, classrooms and kids who like groaning at a pun. A few jokes are riddles with no pun, and a few use words young children may need a grown-up to explain, which gives you something to talk about at dinner.

HOW IT WAS MADE
Designed by a seller. The layouts and colors were built in code. The cartoon characters were created with an AI image generator and then cut out and arranged by the seller. The joke text was drafted with AI assistance, then chosen, edited and checked by the seller. The jokes use no brand names and no real people. A few are classic riddles and puns that many families already know.
