Seller's description

Turn short answers into a little dinner-table mystery with this printable Friendsgiving Guess the Guest game. Guests answer three prompts privately, listen to anonymous answers, and guess who wrote each one. The autumn design includes pumpkins, leaves and warm terracotta details for an adult Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving gathering.

For 4-12 players plus one non-playing host: 5-13 people in total. Each session uses three of the 24 prompts. The game is undated, so you can choose different prompt combinations for future gatherings.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY. No printed game or physical item will be shipped. These are fixed PDF files, not digitally editable or fillable templates.

HOW THE GAME WORKS
1. The host chooses three prompts. Everyone introduces a distinct name, then writes their name and three short answers on a private response form. Anyone may request a replacement prompt for the group before collection, without explaining why.
2. The host collects forms face down, shuffles them and assigns Answer IDs. Each person keeps the same ID for all three rounds. The host privately tells each player only their own ID for marking SELF.
3. In each round, the host reads every ID and its answer neutrally. Players guess each other guest's name once per round and mark their own row SELF. Finish and lock each round before continuing.
4. After all three rounds are complete, the host reveals the ID-name mapping. Each correct guess about another player earns one point; own answers earn zero. Add all three rounds. Highest score wins; ties share the win.

Maximum score: 3 × (number of players - 1). That is 9 points with four players or 33 with twelve. Identical answers are allowed and read separately under their own IDs. No shared history is required to play.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE - FOUR PDF FILES
• RPP-GAM-343_Game_US_Letter.pdf - 9 pages.
• RPP-GAM-343_Game_A4.pdf - 9 pages.
• RPP-GAM-343_Cover_and_Rules_US_Letter.pdf - 4 pages.
• RPP-GAM-343_Cover_and_Rules_A4.pdf - 4 pages.

Each 9-page game PDF contains:
• Pages 1-6: 24 numbered prompt cards, four per sheet.
• Page 7: two player response forms, each with three answer sections.
• Page 8: one reusable guessing/score-sheet template with 12 Answer ID rows and three round columns.
• Page 9: one private host key with space for 12 guest names.

Each 4-page cover-and-rules PDF contains a matching cover, a printing guide, complete gameplay rules and a worked scoring example. Both paper sizes contain the SAME 24 prompts and game components. The cover and rules are extra pages, not additional prompts.

SIZES & PRINTING
US Letter: 8.5 × 11 inches.
A4: 210 × 297 mm.
Finished prompt cards: 3 × 4 inches / 76.2 × 101.6 mm in both versions.

Choose the PDF matching your paper. Print portrait, single-sided, Actual Size / 100%, with one PDF page per sheet. Turn off Fit, Shrink and borderless enlargement. Print one test sheet and measure a card before printing the set. Cut cards using the subtle marks outside their edges. Cut the response-form sheet across its middle guide; keep each three-answer form whole.

PRINT QUANTITIES
• Prompt cards, game pages 1-6: print once for the complete bank, or only the sheets containing your selected cards.
• Response forms, game page 7: one sheet per two players, rounding up for an odd number.
• Guessing/score sheet, game page 8: one copy per player.
• Private host key, game page 9: one copy for the host.
• Read the rules on screen or print rules pages 2-4 once. The cover is optional.

For the complete prompt bank, four players need 13 game sheets; twelve players need 25. These totals exclude the optional cover and rules. Cross out unused score-sheet rows for smaller groups.

YOU WILL NEED
A PDF reader, a printer or print service, paper, scissors, and a pen for each player and the host. Ordinary white paper works for the forms. Optional matte cardstock gives sturdier prompt cards if supported by your printer. No paid software or Canva account is required. Color printing preserves the artwork; printed colors may vary by screen, printer and paper.

All plates, napkins, pencils, table settings and other props shown are display items and are not included. Completed forms and handwriting-style examples use fictional demonstration data; the delivered player forms and private host key are blank.

DOWNLOAD & ACCESS
Once Etsy confirms payment, sign in through a computer or mobile web browser and go to Purchases, then Download Files. Digital purchases currently cannot be downloaded through the Etsy app. Guest buyers can use the download link in their receipt email. If supplied as a ZIP, extract it to access the same four PDFs.

PERSONAL USE
The purchaser may print copies for their own hosted gatherings and reuse them for future events. Do not resell printed games, redistribute or share the digital files, upload them publicly, or claim the designs as your own. A print shop may print the files for your permitted personal use.

DESIGN & REVIEW

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How many people can play?
A: 4-12 players plus one separate, non-playing host. That means 5-13 people in total.

Q: Can the host compete?
A: No. The host knows the ID-name mapping and facilitates the game without competing.

Q: Do we use all 24 prompts in one game?
A: No. Everyone answers the same three selected prompts. The other prompts give you more combinations for later sessions.

Q: How do I know which row is mine?
A: Before the rounds begin, the host privately tells each player only their own Answer ID. Mark that row SELF in all three rounds; it earns zero points.

Q: What if two answers or names match?
A: Identical answers are allowed; the host reads each one separately under its ID. Guests with the same name choose distinct names, such as Alex M and Alex R, before completing forms.

Q: Are these editable or fillable PDFs?
A: No. Print them and write by hand. No Canva account or paid design software is needed.

Q: What if a guest wants a different prompt?
A: Before answers are collected, anyone may request a replacement without explaining why. Replace that prompt for the whole group so everyone still answers the same three.

Q: When are identities revealed?
A: Only after all three rounds are finished and locked. Original response forms and the host key stay private during play.

Q: How are ties handled?
A: Tied players share the win. The maximum is 3 × (players - 1), with no points for a player's own answers.

Q: How long does a game take?
A: It varies with group size, answer length and discussion. No fixed playing time has been established through a live play test.

Q: Can I print the game again?
A: Yes, for your own hosted gatherings under the personal-use terms. A4 and US Letter contain the same game, so print only the paper size you need.

Q: Where do I download my purchase?
A: Use Etsy in a computer or mobile web browser, open Purchases and select Download Files after payment is confirmed. Guest buyers should check their receipt email.
