Step into your own medieval fairy tale in this flowing linen cloak.

Warm weather doesn't mean you can't live out your vision of wearing a long flowy cloak! Falling to mid-calf or ankle, the half-circle style of cloak hangs open in the front to allow your costume or outfit beneath to be seen. The linen is lightweight and comfortable, perfect for warmer weather or indoor use. The billowy hood is deep enough to hide your face in if you so choose, and can be made in a variety of styles to provide the exact appearance you desire. Add a custom closure (ties or a clasp) to truly make it your own or give it that final touch to mirror your favorite character's appearance. Great for any look, from medieval to fantasy to every-day wear!

We use 100% linen of 5.3 oz/yd weight, which is a mid-weight linen that I feel gives the best drape for cloaks. It is light enough to wear in warm weather, but not so light that it can't hang as a cloak should. It is smooth to the touch and becomes softer each time it is washed. Where possible, cloaks are made with a single continuous piece of fabric, making the cloak's back an entirely smooth surface and allowing the fabric to flow freely. For lengths over 50”, back seams may be required.

FABRIC

100% Linen, 5.3 oz/yd (medium weight)

Cloaks are machine washable (cold gentle cycle, low heat, tumble dry low)

All cloaks come hemmed at the front and bottom edges with a zig-zag rolled hem to prevent fraying; stitching is done in a color as close to matching the cloak color as possible, but other colors can be used to personalize! Send us a message, use our optional Personalization section, or leave a note in the “Notes to Seller” section when making your purchase to request a different color!

Neck seam and hood seam are uncovered but finished to prevent fraying. Smoother, covered seams available at additional charge via the Custom Order form.

As this is a handmade item, no two are alike; please expect some natural differences or minor imperfections that make your personal cloak unique.

MEASUREMENTS

Length: 50” (Will fall to approx. mid-calf for heights 5'5” - 5'9”; approx. ankle for heights 5'2” - 5'4”).

Extended and children's sizes also available by request!
