ABOUT THE HOLIDAYS
The 2027 holiday dates come from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's federal holiday schedule (checked October 2026). They're holidays for federal employees; your business chooses which days to give, so delete or add any.

Q: How many employees does it hold?
A: Up to 50 employees and 1,000 leave entries in the year.
Q: Does it tell me what my state requires?
A: No. It follows the policy numbers you type in. Leave laws vary by state and city, so confirm your policy with your state labor department or an employment advisor. It's a record-keeping tool, not legal or HR advice.
Q: Can I use it for 2028?
A: Yes. Change the leave year on Start Here, update the holiday dates, and enter each person's carryover from the Balances tab.
Q: Does it work in Google Sheets?
A: Yes. It's a real .xlsx file with no macros. Open it in Excel, or import it into Google Sheets with File → Import → Upload. The formulas come across intact.
Q: How do I get the files?
A: Right after purchase, from Etsy → You → Purchases and reviews, or the download link in your Etsy confirmation email. You can re-download any time.
