Vintage Roden Brothers Silverplate Tray | 12” Grape Vine E.P. on Copper Heavy Serving Tray

✨ Vintage Roden Brothers Silverplate Tray | 12” Grape Vine E.P. on Copper Heavy Serving Tray

A beautiful and substantial vintage silver-plated tray, attributed to Roden Brothers of Toronto, Canada. This heavy, well-made 12” round tray features an exceptionally ornate raised border of grape clusters, textured vine leaves and flowing stems.

The centre is decorated with repeating engraved floral baskets and delicate scrollwork. Warm copper tones showing through portions of the engraving add wonderful depth and character to the aged silver finish.

The underside is stamped “E.P. ON COPPER” together with a small figural animal mark and distinctive Gothic R within a triangle, a mark associated with Roden Brothers silverplate. E.P. on Copper indicates electroplated silver over a copper base.

The dimensional grapevine border is the star of this piece. Style it with crystal decanters and glasses on a bar, use it for serving, display candles or perfume bottles, or place it on a sideboard as an elegant decorative accent.

Its aged silver, exposed warm copper tones and elaborate detailing work beautifully with vintage china, crystal and antique linens.
