Highlights

A gentle storybook-watercolor portrait of the Patron Saint of Lawyers in a dark green 16th-century robe with a fur collar and a gold chain of office, holding a rolled scroll and a book beneath a golden halo: "Sorry, Your Majesty. I read the fine print."

THE STORY BEHIND IT
An English lawyer and Lord Chancellor, he would not accept the king as supreme head of the Church in England. He was executed in 1535, canonized in 1935, and is honored as the patron saint of lawyers and statesmen.

A meaningful gift for Catholic lawyers, judges, paralegals and law students, for new bar admittees and law school graduates, and for Confirmation or the annual Red Mass. A quiet way to carry the example of a saint who held to his conscience.
