Soap Pricing Calculator Spreadsheet, Cost per Bar, Bath and Body Product Pricing, Batch Recipe Cost, Wholesale Retail, Google Sheets Excel

From your batch recipe to a cost per bar and a price that pays you.

Oils, butters, lye, water, fragrance, clay and mica are bought by the pound or kilo and used by the gram. This calculator costs your whole batch, splits it over the bars you can sell, adds packaging, your time, overhead and postage, and suggests a price after Etsy fees.

HOW IT WORKS
- Materials: type your supplies once as you bought them (e.g. 7 lb of olive oil, 1 kg of shea butter, 1 gal of distilled water). Cost per gram, ounce or ml is worked out for you.
- Calculator: pick each ingredient and type the amount for the whole batch. Batch cost, oils total and fragrance as % of oils fill in.
- Type the sellable bars per batch, packaging per bar, batch time and minutes per bar.
- Read the suggested price, then type your own price to see fees, profit, margin and earned per hour.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Digital download, no physical item. Nothing will be shipped.
- Costing only, NOT a lye calculator. Always check your recipes with a dedicated lye calculator. The sample batch is not a tested recipe.
- Works in any currency: amounts are plain numbers.
- Etsy fee rates (listing $0.20, transaction 6.5%, payment processing by bank country, optional Offsite Ads 15% / 12%, regulatory fee) are editable settings, so you can update them if Etsy changes its fees.
- Comes with sample data, clearly marked SAMPLE, so you can see how it works. Sample prices are made up and are not benchmarks.
- Not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc. Not tax, legal or financial advice.

Designed by seller. This spreadsheet was created with the help of AI tools, built and tested by hand (formulas recalculated and checked with sample data and with empty inputs).
