Resin by the gallon, mica by the jar, molds that wear out a little with every pour, the cup that never empties and the pour that didn't come out: it all adds up. This calculator turns it into a cost per piece and a suggested price for the profit margin you want.

HOW IT WORKS
- Materials: type your supplies once as you bought them (e.g. a 1 gal resin kit with part A + B, 240 g of mica, 50 cork dots). The cost per fl oz, gram or piece is worked out for you.
- Calculator: type the mixed resin one piece needs and a waste allowance. Part A and part B for your mix ratio fill in, per piece and per pour session.
- Molds: price, pours you expect and cavities. Mold wear per piece is worked out.
- Add pigments, inclusions and hardware, a failed-pour allowance, packaging, hands-on and finishing minutes (curing time is not counted).
- Read the suggested price, then type your own price to see fees, profit, margin and earned per hour.
