The neighborhood Christmas tree has outgrown the neighborhood.
The Tree That Wouldn’t Stop Growing features an enormous decorated evergreen rising above snowy houses while neighbors gather beneath its glowing branches. Multicolored lights climb the trunk, ornaments hang over the rooftops and a star shines high among the clouds.
Below, Christmas carries on: windows glow, wreaths decorate the houses and bundled-up neighbors step outside to take in a holiday display considerably larger than expected.
Presented as a fictional vintage science-fiction magazine cover, this design combines dramatic perspective, bold headlines and an intentionally distressed border with the familiar comforts of a snowy neighborhood Christmas.
It belongs to Atomic Holiday Stories — The Pulp Sci-Fi Christmas Collection from Cavern Emporium.
