Reading Ledger | Book Log with To-Read List, Ratings and Finished Dates (Google Sheets)

Form to sheet: log it in-the-moment on a Google Form on your phone, and the entry lands organized in your Google Sheet. No app, no re-typing. That's how every Ledger & Light tool works.

Turned the last page? Log it in-the-moment, form to sheet, give it a rating while the ending is still with you, and your Reading Ledger files it under Finished with the date beside it.

Your Reading Ledger is a Google Sheet with a phone form. Open the Log Books form, pick a book from your list or type a new title, choose Added, Started or Finished, and add your rating when you finish. Every entry travels form to sheet and lands as a row on your Reading Log, and your Items tab keeps each title's stage, its dates and your rating current.

Author, genre and where the book lives sit on every title, whether that is the shelf by the bed, an e-reader or a library loan. Stage follows what you log: a book you add is To Read, a book you start is Reading, a book you finish is Finished.

Your Dashboard keeps three lists and a count. Up Next is everything still To Read. Reading Now is every book you have open. Favorite Authors lists the writers behind the books you rated 4 or 5. Finished counts the books you closed in the last 12 months.
