Digital Product Pricing Calculator Spreadsheet, Printable and Template Seller Profit Tracker, Etsy Fees, Break Even, Google Sheets Excel

Price your printables, templates and digital files so the hours you spent making them actually pay off.

A digital product costs nothing to copy, but it cost you hours to design, plus fonts, graphics, commercial licenses and mockups. Then every sale pays platform and payment fees. This calculator spreads your creation cost over the sales you expect, adds the fees for the platform you sell on, and shows a break-even price, a suggested price and how many sales it takes to earn back your work.

HOW IT WORKS
- Settings: your hourly rate for design time, target margin, the share of your Etsy sales from Offsite Ads, support minutes per sale and a monthly profit goal. Once.
- Platforms: Etsy (US, EU and UK bank accounts), Payhip, Gumroad and your own site via Stripe are filled in, with the source and date checked. Every rate is editable, and two rows are free for another platform.
- Calculator: design hours, fonts, graphics and licenses, mockups and other one-time costs, the platform and the sales you expect in the next 12 months.
- Read the break-even and suggested price, type your own price, and see what you keep per sale, sales to earn back your costs, profit in 12 months and earned per design hour.
- Same price on every platform: what you keep on each one, side by side.
- Product List: up to 50 products with sales so far. Earned so far, sales still to go and the status (Paid back, On track, Below target, Below break-even) fill in.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Digital download, no physical item. Nothing will be shipped.
- Made for printables, planners, spreadsheets, templates, SVG and cut files, digital art and clip art.
- Works in any currency: amounts are plain numbers.
- Platform fees can change: the rates (and the date they were checked) are on the Platforms tab, so you can update them. Payment processing differs by country and provider.
- Sales tax and VAT collected by a marketplace are left out. Sell only designs, fonts and graphics you made or have a commercial license for.
- Comes with sample data, clearly marked SAMPLE, so you can see how it works. Sample numbers are made up and are not benchmarks.
- Not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc., Payhip, Gumroad or Stripe. Not tax, legal or financial advice.
