Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A black t-shirt featuring a cartoon illustration of a monk in a purple robe holding a pea pod. The monk is next to a small watering can and a speech bubble with the text: It's not drama. It's genetics. Several green peas are scattered on the robe.

It's not drama. It's genetics. A chibi storybook-watercolor Gregor Mendel tee for biology teachers, genetics students, gardeners and anyone who blames the family tree.

THE STORY BEHIND IT
Gregor Mendel was an Augustinian friar who grew thousands of pea plants in his monastery garden in Brno between 1856 and 1863. He published the basic rules of inheritance in 1866, and his work was not widely recognized until the early 1900s.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
- Funny Gregor Mendel shirt: the watercolor chibi friar in a hooded habit tied with a rope belt, holding two open pea pods, with loose peas tumbling down in front of his robe, and a watering can in his other hand, says "It's not drama. It's genetics."
- For biology and science teachers, genetics students, gardeners, plant lovers and lab teams
- Big, bold speech-bubble joke, with the design printed about 10½ to 11½ inches wide, depending on size, so it reads across the room
- Original chibi watercolor art by Honeyman Tees: brown hair, a hooded habit with a rope belt, two green pea pods, loose green peas falling beside the pods and a weathered metal watering can
- Soft, comfy tee, made to order and printed to last

ABOUT THE SHIRT
- Bella+Canvas 3001 unisex jersey tee, 4.2 oz, crew neck, side-seamed
- Solid colors are 100% combed and ring-spun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton / 10% polyester. Heather Peach and Dark Grey Heather are 52% cotton / 48% polyester.
