Minerva Shirt, Roman Goddess of Wisdom Tee, Teacher Appreciation Gift for Teachers, Latin Teachers, Librarians and Owl Lovers

Show your work. The owl is watching. A chibi storybook-watercolor Minerva tee for teachers, Latin and classics teachers, librarians, students and owl lovers, a fun Teacher Appreciation gift.

THE STORY BEHIND IT
Minerva was the Roman goddess of wisdom, crafts and strategy, and with Jupiter and Juno she formed the Capitoline Triad, the three chief gods worshipped on Rome's Capitoline Hill. The owl is her symbol of wisdom, and her festival, the Quinquatrus, began on March 19 as a holiday for craftsmen, artists and schoolchildren, who gave their teachers a small gift called a minerval.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
- Funny teacher shirt: the watercolor chibi Minerva in a gold crested helmet, a blue Roman gown and a white cloak, holding an olive branch and a clipboard with a small owl perched on top, says "Show your work. The owl is watching."
- For teachers, Latin and classics teachers, librarians, students, owl lovers and mythology fans, and a fun Teacher Appreciation gift
- Big, bold speech-bubble joke, with the design printed about 10 to 12 inches wide, depending on size, so it reads across the room
- Original chibi watercolor art by Honeyman Tees: a gold crested helmet, a blue gown with a white cloak, an olive branch, a brown clipboard with a pencil and a small cream owl
- Soft, comfy tee, made to order and printed to last; a fun teacher and mythology gift
