Football Birthday Invitation, First Year Down, 1st Birthday Girl Invite, Pink Gingham Football Party, Rookie Year, Editable Canva Template

This football birthday invitation is for the house where Sunday games come first and the newest fan wears pink. She made it through her first season, so the card calls it what it is: First Year Down. A watercolor football and a vintage leather helmet sit between gray goal posts, wrapped in a pink and white gingham border with a green turf yard line strip along the bottom. Type her name, the date and the address into the editable Canva template, print a few for the grandparents and text the JPG to the family chat. It is a 1st birthday girl invite for a football family that still wants pink.

WHY THIS FOOTBALL BIRTHDAY INVITATION

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

- Edit it tonight from your phone. You do not need a laptop or a print shop appointment. Type your details in the free Canva app and you have a card in minutes.
- Pink without losing the football. Many girl sports invites trade the ball for bows and glitter. This one keeps the real game, a football, a helmet, goal posts and yard lines, and lets the pink gingham border make it hers.
- Rookie year wording is already in place. The First Year Down headline and the turning one line are set for a first birthday, so most parents only type the name and the details.
- Reuse with no expiration. Edit it again for the dessert table sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Q: Is this football birthday invitation made for a girl first birthday?
A: Yes. The pink and white gingham border and the pink script are made for a girl, while the American football, helmet and goal posts keep the sports theme real. The First Year Down headline and the turning one line are both editable in Canva.

Q: Can I match the pink on this gingham invitation to my party colors?
A: The text colors are editable in Canva, so you can set her name and the script to the exact pink of your balloons or cake. The border is a pink and white gingham, so light and bright pink decorations sit well beside it.

Q: Will this pink football invite work for an older girl too?
A: Yes. Change First Year Down and the age line to fit her age, and it works as a girly football party card or a first down birthday for a big sister. The pink gingham goal post look stays the same.

Q: Can I edit this pink sports invite on my phone?
A: Yes. Basic phone editing is supported through the free Canva app, so you can type the name, the date and the address right from your phone tonight. A tablet or computer gives you a bit more room, but a phone is enough to finish and send it.

Q: Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
A: No. The template opens in a free Canva account and there is nothing to install. Everything you need to change the wording and colors works on the free plan.

Q: How do I print the invitation once it is done?
A: Download the print ready PDF with crop marks and print at home on cardstock, use a local print shop, or upload to an online printer. The file is sized 5x7 inches, and the JPG is best for texting or posting the invitation digitally.

Q: Will I get a physical invitation in the mail?
A: No. This is a digital template for personal use only and no physical item will be shipped. You receive editable files instantly so you can print or send them yourself the same day.

Q: Can I reuse this football invite design for other party items?
A: Yes. There is no expiration on your edits and downloads, so you can reopen the template for a welcome sign, favor tags or thank you cards in the same style.
