This Ripple Ruana crochet pattern is a chevron stripe wrap cardigan worked in one piece with no shoulder seams, in sizes XS to 5X. The ripple runs unbroken right over your shoulders, and the video tutorial keeps you on track the whole way.

Ripple Crochet Ruana: one piece, no shoulder seams, and a ripple that runs unbroken up the back and over your shoulders.

The Ripple Crochet Ruana starts at the back hem and works up in Ripple Stitch to the shoulder line, then splits so you work each front down to its own hem. Every wrong side row goes into the third loop of the half double crochet, which gives the zigzag its raised, ridged texture. Stripes of White alternate with Medium green, Sand, and Camel, so the color shifts as it climbs.

Leave the sides open for a flowy wrap, or seam them for armholes so it stays put on your shoulders. It comes in four sizes from XS/S to 4X/5X, in a Short or Long length.

📐 Skill Level:
