🎁 GIFT TRACKING THAT KEEPS UP

Pick the person from a dropdown, add the gift and an estimated price, then move the status along as you shop. Statuses are colour-coded so you can scan the list quickly. Once a gift is bought, update the price to what you actually paid and every total updates.

Each person's row shows what you have planned, what you have spent and what is left of their budget. Overspending turns red. When every gift for someone is wrapped or given, they are marked Done.

💰 THE WHOLE SEASON'S BUDGET

Gifts are usually only part of holiday spending. Set a total budget, split it across gifts, food and groceries, hosting, decorations, travel, cards and postage, wrapping and shipping, charity and other, and log each purchase on the Holiday Expenses tab. Rename the categories to suit your family.

The Budget tab shows any money not yet assigned to a category, and flags expenses whose category no longer matches after a rename, so nothing quietly drops out of your totals.
