Will I receive a printed poster in the mail?

No, and that's on purpose. Everything here is a digital download: you get the files, and you print them wherever you like. Nothing travels through the post, so nothing gets lost, creased or delayed, and the artwork is with you within minutes of your order. If you'd rather hold a finished print, a local print shop will do a beautiful job with these files.

What exactly do I receive?

You receive a PDF. Inside it, there is one download link for each ratio — five for a portrait or landscape piece, one for a square one — and a short printing guide. Click the link that matches your frame, the full-resolution image downloads, and you're ready to print. Nothing to install, no account to create.

I opened the PDF and I only see links. Where are the images?

That's exactly how it works — the PDF is the doorway. It holds one link per ratio included with your artwork: click the one that matches your frame, and the full-resolution image downloads to your device. The images sit outside the PDF because they're far too large for Etsy's file limit, and this way you get them at full quality. If a link won't open, tell me and I'll send yours another way the same day.

I can't find my files. What do I do?

Two things solve this almost every time. First: digital downloads don't appear in the Etsy app — sign in on Etsy.com in a browser, then go to Your account > Purchases and reviews > Download files. Second: if you paid with Apple Pay and chose Hide My Email, your receipt went to a hidden address, so look inside your Etsy account rather than your inbox. Still nothing? Message me and I'll send your files straight to you.

What sizes and ratios are included?

All of them, and there's nothing to choose. A portrait or landscape piece comes with five ratios: A-sizes for European frames (A5 to A1), 3:4 for classic frames such as 30x40 cm and 12x16 in, 4:5 for US standard sizes such as 8x10 and 16x20 in, 2:3 for photo and poster sizes from 4x6 up to 24x36 in, and 11:14 for classic US gallery frames. A square piece comes as a true 1:1, from 6x6 to 20x20 in. Whichever frame is already waiting on your shelf, one of them will fit.

How large can I print it?

Comfortably up to A1 or 24x36 in. Rather than quoting a number, here's what actually matters: a large print is looked at from a few steps back, so it needs less detail per inch than something you hold in your hand. These files are prepared with that in mind. For small and medium sizes — up to 20x30 in, or A2 — the detail holds up beautifully even up close.

Where should I get it printed?

Three good options. A local print shop or photo lab is my favourite: you get to see and touch the paper, and they often print while you wait. An online printing service works well too — most of them take a simple JPG upload. And your own printer at home is lovely for the smaller sizes. Whichever you choose, send them the file that matches your frame ratio, and tell them the exact size you want. To make it easy, I keep a list of printers I trust, country by country, with the paper to ask for and what to say at the counter: print.bypampam.com

What paper do you recommend?

Matte, textured, and on the thick side. A fine art or watercolour paper suits these illustrations best: it holds the warm tones and gives the print the feel of something made by hand. If your print shop offers Giclée printing, take it. Canvas works well too. I'd gently steer you away from glossy paper — it flattens the colours and catches the light from every angle.

Can I use the artwork commercially, or sell prints of it?

No — these are for your own walls and your own gifts. The artworks stay under my copyright, so they can't be resold, shared, printed for sale, or used for a business, a product or a logo. It's the one thing that lets a small shop like mine keep going. If you have a commercial project in mind, write to me and we'll talk about it.

Is the frame included?

No — the frames and the rooms you see in my photos are there to show how an artwork can live somewhere. What you're buying is the artwork itself, in every ratio, ready to print and to slide into a frame you already have.

It brings a soft smile to a home office decor corner, a kitchen nook or a cafe sign shelf, and it makes a gentle cat mom gift for anyone who shares her desk with a cat.
