Vintage book cover printable art for a quiet corner: a digital file you download and print yourself, in the spirit of old book covers. This is the cover of a book that does not exist, "The Care and Feeding of Old Regrets", with indigo tulips and rust-red sprigs stamped across creamy, aged paper and a small pasted label on top. It brings an old paper aesthetic to a reading nook, a shelf wall or a library corner, and would make a tender book club gift or librarian gift.

📚 An imaginary book cover

"The Care and Feeding of Old Regrets" — No. 5 in the collection "Practical Guides to the Impossible", published by the Society of Imaginary Books.

This book does not exist. Only its cover does, and the rest is yours.

Around the turn of the twentieth century, small publishers dressed their books in patterned papers printed from hand-cut wooden blocks, pasting a plain paper label on the front to carry the title. This print follows that gesture, with an original pattern created for this cover alone.

Every title in the collection is numbered. The covers echo one another without ever repeating: hung together, they form the shelf of a contemplative library that never existed…
