Family History Website Builder, Family Tree Timeline and Stories, Printable Family Album PDF, Genealogy Keepsake, Instant Download

Envelo Roots – a family chronicle you make yourself, in your browser, and keep as a website and a printable album.

The stories we keep become the stories we share.

WHAT YOUR CHRONICLE CAN SHOW
• A title page with your family name, a short welcome and a cover photo
• A timeline grouped by decade, with who was there
• Chapters with longer stories, each with its own photos and captions
• Family places as towns or regions on a drawn sketch map (not a geographic map), shown only after you confirm the family agreed
• The family list with years – living relatives appear only after you mark that they approved
• Privacy switches: shorten every surname to its initial, hide exact dates
• A printable album: the same chronicle in a book layout with a cover, a dedication and a contents page – save it as PDF on A4 or US Letter
• An optional second language with a switch, including right-to-left languages such as Hebrew and Arabic
• Two colour themes, each with a matching dark mode

HOW IT WORKS
1. Download and unzip. Open editor.html in your web browser on a computer. No internet, no account.
2. Look at the made-up example family, press Start my own and type your stories. Add photos: they are made smaller and their location data is removed.
3. Press Download my site. You get a ZIP with your finished website (index.html + assets) that opens with a double-click. Press Print or save as PDF in it for the album.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
• START-HERE.pdf (0.20 MB)
• Envelo-Roots-v1.0.zip (4.57 MB)
Inside the ZIP:
• editor.html: the builder, opens in your browser and works offline
• example-site/: a finished chronicle of a made-up family (17 files)
• HOW-TO-PUBLISH.md: free ways to put your site online and how to make the PDF album
• START-HERE/: the START HERE guide in 11 languages (PDF)
• LICENSES.txt and WHAT_YOU_GET.txt

IMPORTANT BEFORE BUYING
• This is a do-it-yourself builder. We do not make the chronicle for you, we do not research your family and we do not host the site.
• A public web address is not included. To share the site as a link, upload the folder to a web host. HOW-TO-PUBLISH shows free options; they are run by other companies and their terms can change.
• Nothing is uploaded: your texts and photos stay on your computer.
• Digital download: nothing is shipped, including no printed album.
• The builder works in 11 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Hindi and Arabic, right to left) – switch any time; you write the text of the site in your own words and languages.
• For your own family. Please don't resell or share the files.
• Preview images were made with AI image tools and show a made-up family. Your site uses your own photos and texts. The builder and the site screens are the real product.
