Family Travel Map Website Builder, Trip Journal with Photos, Places Visited Map, Printable Travel Album PDF, Instant Download

Envelo Trails – your family’s trips on one map, made by you in your browser, kept as a website and a printable album.

Turn your family’s journeys into a living map.

WHAT YOUR MAP CAN SHOW
• A world map with a numbered pin for every trip, joined by a dotted route – it is part of your site and works without internet
• Trips by year, with dates, number of days, places and who went
• A photo diary for each trip, with captions
• “Show trips with …” buttons: tap a nickname to see only that person’s trips
• Who went where: trips and days for every traveller
• A printable route album: the map, a contents page, one landscape page per trip – save it as PDF on A4 or US Letter
• An optional second language with a switch, including right-to-left languages such as Hebrew and Arabic
• Two colour themes, each with a matching dark mode

HOW IT WORKS
1. Download and unzip. Open editor.html in your web browser on a computer. No internet, no account.
2. Look at the made-up example family, press Start my own, add travellers and trips. For a pin, paste the town’s coordinates from any map app. Add photos: they are made smaller and their location data is removed.
3. Press Download my site. You get a ZIP with your finished website (index.html + assets) that opens with a double-click. Press Print or save as PDF in it for the album.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
• START-HERE.pdf (0.20 MB)
• Envelo-Trails-v1.0.zip (4.37 MB)
Inside the ZIP:
• editor.html: the builder, opens in your browser and works offline
• example-site/: a finished travel map of a made-up family (23 files)
• HOW-TO-PUBLISH.md: free ways to put your site online, how to make the PDF album and about the map
• LICENSES.txt and WHAT_YOU_GET.txt

IMPORTANT BEFORE BUYING
• This is a do-it-yourself builder. We do not make the map for you and we do not host the site.
• A public web address is not included. To share the site as a link, upload the folder to a web host. HOW-TO-PUBLISH shows free options; they are run by other companies and their terms can change.
• No live online map and no GPS tracking: the map is a drawn world outline (Natural Earth, public domain) inside your site. Pins come from coordinates you type.
• Nothing is uploaded: your texts and photos stay on your computer.
• Digital download: nothing is shipped, including no printed album.
• The builder works in 11 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Hindi and Arabic, right to left) – switch any time; you write the text of the site in your own words and languages.
• For your own family. Please don't resell or share the files.
• Preview images were made with AI image tools and show a made-up family. Your site uses your own photos and texts. The builder and the site screens are the real product.
