A warm mug of hot cocoa and a handful of marshmallows to count.

Hot Cocoa Counting is a Christmas counting activity for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2 to 5. Your child places a number card in the square, then counts the same number of marshmallows into the hot cocoa. Simple, cozy and full of learning, it is the sweetest way to practice number recognition from 1 to 10.

Use it for toddler counting at the kitchen table, preschool counting during your morning basket time, or as one of your winter number centers in the classroom. Little ones love using real mini marshmallows too, as a special December treat.
