Saint Anthony the Great Shirt, Desert Father Tee, Anthony of Egypt Gift for Introverts, Monks and Catholic Families

A gentle, warm-hearted gift for Catholic and Orthodox families, introverts and anyone who loves the Desert Fathers: a chibi storybook-watercolor Saint Anthony the Great, with his T-shaped tau staff and his faithful pig, says "Moved to the desert for some quiet. Everyone followed."

A cheerful Saint Anthony of Egypt gift for a confirmation, a name day, a feast day on January 17, a monk or a quiet friend who needs a little desert of their own.

THE STORY BEHIND IT
Saint Anthony the Great (about 251-356), also called Anthony of Egypt, gave away his family's land and moved into the Egyptian desert to pray in solitude. It did not stay quiet for long. So many people came looking for his advice that, as Saint Athanasius wrote in his Life of Anthony, the desert became a city of monks. He is remembered as the father of Christian monasticism, his feast day is January 17, and he is often shown with a tau-cross staff and a pig.
