Sewing project planner by Envelo SeamPlan: your size from the pattern’s own size chart for each measurement, with grading between sizes, the fabric to buy for your size and fabric width, the notions to buy, the steps – and a true-size project card to print.

Bust in one size, hip in another? SeamPlan reads the size chart you copy from the back of your pattern, shows the size and the ease for each measurement, and works out the fabric from the pattern’s fabric chart for the largest size you need.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Pick the garment (top or jacket, dress, skirt, trousers or shorts) and type your bust, waist and hip
• Copy the pattern’s size chart: SeamPlan shows the size for each measurement, the ease, and when to grade between sizes
• Copy the pattern’s fabric chart for your view: the fabric to buy for your fabric width, or the next narrower width on the safe side, plus a spare for pre-washing
• Keep the notions with how many you need and have – the list shows only what to buy
• Tick off the steps from the instructions and see how far you are
• Print the project card at true size: 140 × 200 mm, with a 10 cm ruler and a box for a fabric snip – download as SVG or print at 100 % on A4 or US Letter
• Your shopping list and charts as CSV tables, backup and restore

EXAMPLE INSIDE
A made-up wrap dress from a made-up pattern: bust 95 cm and waist 77 cm are size L, hip 108 cm is XL – grade from L to XL. The fabric chart for XL says 3.00 m at 115 cm; with a 140 cm fabric and a 10 % spare, buy 3.30 m. Three notions to buy, 2 of 5 steps done.

LANGUAGES
The app switches between English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Русский, हिन्दी and العربية (right to left).

HOW IT WORKS
1. Download the ZIP and START-HERE.pdf from Etsy after checkout.
2. Unzip and open Envelo-SeamPlan.html in your web browser. Look at the filled example, then press My numbers.
3. Type your measurements and copy the charts from your pattern. Everything updates as you type and saves in your browser.

• Size charts differ between pattern makers. Make a toile for a close fit, and check the fabric chart for your view.
• Your numbers do not sync between devices; move them with the backup file.
