We use hallmarked sterling silver which needs regular cleaning with a silver polishing cloth, contact with perfume, body creams etc will cause it to tarnish and discolour. Our gold vermeil jewellery is 925 sterling silver plated in 18 carat rose or yellow gold. These pieces need to be removed when washing or swimming in order to avoid the plating coming off sooner than expected.
