Vintage from the 1970s
Materials: Ceramic

This is an amazing Wedgwood platter in the pattern called Iona as the design is raised on the dish giving it great texture and depth. The flowers I think are poppies in blue, turquoise and purple with olive green outlines. Great stoneware dish to serve a roast, chicken, or a big platter of pasta. Also oval platters like this work great for crackers and cheese or other appetizers.

Iona was made from 1974-81

DIMENSIONS: 11 3/4" (31 cm) long x 10" (25.5 cm) wide

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. Barely any scratches - may never have been used.

I wouldn't recommend putting vintage glass or china in the dishwasher especially if they have metal decorations, hand painted details or other embellishments. Dishwasher detergent is very tough on vintage glass. As vintage glass was often made in a time before dishwashers were prevalent, they would most likely be damaged. Hand washing is recommended.
