This is a visually stunning bottom loading adult(up to 150 pounds) handcrafted memorial/cremation urn made from seamlessly joined hardwoods. The stunning figured curly ambrosia maple and beautiful dark wenge were hand picked to compliment each other. Final result is beautiful and also functional.

This urn measures 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 5 1/2" outside and is solidly built.

The body was cut from 1 piece of curly ambrosia maple and then book matched vertically. This gives a mirror image of the top and bottom aspects on the 4 vertical sides. The top edge is wenge and is precisely routed with a "roundover" profile. The top has a large central square inlay of clear ambrosia maple which is bordered with dark wenge and ambrosia maple inlays which are tightly mitered at the corners. The base is book matched ambrosia maple with a wide piece of wenge centrally(last image). The bottom is inset into the body. I have branded my shop logo into the removable bottom.

Urn is accessed by removing the 2 high quality Phillips/square head screws(pending still). Screw heads will be nicely recessed into the base. Inside is finely sanded. Screws and non slip pads will be done prior to shipping.

Outside is finished with several coats of wipe on high gloss polyurethane and hand buffed with 4-0 steel wool and paste wax. Inside has been finely sanded.

This urn should be proudly displayed in the home as a memorial to your beloved. It is totally different from any other urn out there and would be perfect in most any setting.
