We are presenting for sale a 19th century French Louis XVI hand-carved footstool that has been refinished and reupholstered in an exotic Brazilian brown and white leather cowhide accented with hand-applied French natural nail heads. This is an extremely nice stool in excellent condition. Please read our policies and message us with any questions you may have.
Our natural cowhide rugs are sourced from master tanners in Brazil, your hide will be unique and among the finest in the world. We have individually selected each and every hide to ensure the best quality, shine and softness.
The saying around our studio and motto is, "They feel so good to the touch that you just want to pet them".
Cleaning and Care Instructions:
Cowhides are very easily maintained and require minimal care. We recommend occasionally vacuuming your cowhide with the grain of the hair to rid of dust and dirt and/ or to lightly clean with mild soap and water (do not soak through)...This is all your cowhide should ever need. Do not be concerned with damaging your hide due to the fact properly tanned cowhides are practically indestructible, and their natural oils resist staining. Please note with proper care your cowhide should last a life time.
