Tropical colors copper ball chain tassel necklace.
The large "coral" focal was actually taken from a self-made mold from a friend's piece of coral. I mixed white, ecru, translucent and pearl polymer, then took an impression, cured and antiqued with pearly-taupe acrylic.
The lower bead was from the same batch as the beauties in this piece: https://www.etsy.com/listing/104163662/handcrafted-tropical-choker-magenta?ref=shop_home_active_8
Copper wire, threaded with a copper bead and a bicone rolled from magenta polymer, travels around and through the main focal. A large bail and lower hanging loop were created in the process and (5) strands of copper ball chain were inserted into the lower bead.
The entire assembly hangs from a 30" raw copper ball chain. Or, change out for your own chain/cord/ribbon to fit an approximately 3/8"-10mm wide bail.
Parts of the copper are already taking on a pleasing, oxidized finish. Depending on the manufacturers finishing of different elements, beads and wire will "age" at different rates. Expect the natural variations in metal tones, as time goes by....
Read about the ball chain here, where you may also purchase additional chains to customize to your preferred length (or colors). Maybe you'd like to add versatility to this piece (which also looks great sitting just below the collar-bone!) or get a few for other neckpieces. https://www.etsy.com/listing/292018369/choice-of-30-inch-ball-chain-necklaces?ref=shop_home_active_4
