Bergamot Oil is famous for giving Earl Grey Tea its prominent flavor, but the tradition of putting it in tea comes from the oil's ability to treat intestinal infections and aid digestion.
The oil is also popular in aromatherapy because of stress relieving and anti-depressant properties.
The oil has even been reported to reduce fevers and prevent cavities.
