Fair trade African Nativity handcrafted by our artisan partner, Yeko, in Uganda. Yeko is a disabled artist working in Uganda. His nativity is crafted using local materials and methods. The nativity and storage box are covered in bark cloth, a traditional Ugandan fabric created from tree bark. Although Yeko is disabled, he is fond of saying "disability is not inability." He uses his work to advocate for the disabled community of his city and nation. Our African Nativity comes in a unique storage box and packaged with a story card. Excellent for gifting!
