This listing includes a 1/4" cuff bracelet hand stamped with proud police mom or name of choice, you may also choose to have a badge number, initials or both stamped on the inside of the bracelet, on your choice of metal.

This bracelet is 6 inches in length.

This cuff is available in either aluminum, nu gold (brass), copper or stainless steel. Select the material you would like from the drop down menu.

These are made from nu gold (gold version), copper, aluminum and stainless steel bracelets. The nu gold and copper are 14 gauge, the aluminum is 12 gauge and the stainless steel is 16 gauge.

***METALS***

STAINLESS STEEL CUFF - The hardest of the metals and is perfect for everyday wear or if you are rough on your jewelry. Stainless steel will not tarnish or change color. Its color is slightly darker than sterling silver & heavier, it is nickel & lead free and is hypoallergenic.


NU GOLD CUFF -Also known as “Red Brass” and “Jeweler’s Brass.” Nu gold is a hard metal, is very sturdy and is good for everyday wear. It has a rich warm color. 85% copper and 15% zinc and no nickel. It tarnishes considerable slower than copper and is easy to clean, however it will tarnish and patina. You will need to polish your nu gold and clean it after each wear to maintain the new look. If you have a sensitivity to copper you will likely have a sensitivity to Nu Gold as well, since it is a copper alloy.


COPPER - A softer metal than brass, copper is flexible and some believe it aids the symptoms of arthritis and circulation problems. Copper will naturally patina over time...you can choose to let your bracelet darken naturally, or use a jewelry polishing cloth to keep it bright and looking like new. You can also store your bracelet in the resealable plastic bag that it comes in to keep it clean and dry while it's not being worn.


ALUMINUM CUFF- The softest of the metals. These are made of the highest quality 12 gauge 1100-O commercially pure food safe aluminum. This is pure aluminum and is less reactive to one's skin than sterling silver and is hypoallergenic. Aluminum is very light in weight however it is extremely durable, do not see the "lighter" weight as a lesser quality material. Aluminum looks like sterling silver, yet it is extremely easy to take care of.



***CARING FOR AND WEARING YOUR CUFF***

To avoid damaging or breaking your bracelet never bend it more than necessary to fit onto your wrist, never put it over your hand. To put your cuff onto your wrist, hold the cuff sideways and find the narrowest part of your wrist just above the wrist bone. Gently stretch the ends apart, just wide enough to fit over the narrowest part of your wrist, then turn your cuff until it is right side up on your wrist. You should not have to adjust your cuff again, by putting on your cuff properly and taking care of it you will prevent the metal from weakening or becoming misshapen.

**If cuff is continuously opened and closed, it will shorten it's lifespan. I cannot be held responsible if such breakage occurs*
